KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- During the November Unit Training Assembly, the 150th Medical Group conducted mass physical health assessments for the unit. During the two days of drill, they processed more than 600 members.
“The team demonstrated their dedication and expertise in completing the annual medical readiness enhancement for the New Mexico Air National Guard,” said Danial Storkson, Senior Enlisted Leader, 150 MDG.
This year's medical readiness efforts focused on three key areas: immunizations, blood draws for laboratory requirements, and dental readiness. The medical unit's team worked to ensure that each Airman received the necessary care and attention to maintain their readiness status.
The 150th Medical Group has been conducting mass processing events for several years, continually refining their processes to improve efficiency. Last year's event received many 5-star reviews, and the team was determined to maintain that high standard this year.
“The hard work paid off, the 150th Medical Group once again received rave reviews for their efforts. The 150th Special Operations Wing Airmen praised the team's professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail, noting that they felt well-cared for throughout the process,” said Storkson.
As the New Mexico Air National Guard continues to prepare for potential deployments and other missions, the 150th Medical Group's commitment to medical readiness is extremely important. Their dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of their fellow service members is a testament to their professionalism and commitment to excellence.
