I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Mexico in 2011. I have been employed with the State of New Mexico as a State Investigator (abuse, neglect, missing, and exploitation) since 2014. I joined the the NMANG in 2015 as a maintainer to continue the family tradition of serving. My father is a retired Senior Chief of the United States Navy and Vietnam veteran. My brother joined the NMANG and recently transferred to Channel Islands, California ANG. I like to work out, watch reality TV, attend concerts, sporting events and spend time with my family.

I grew up a military brat, and although I didn't grow up in one place, N.M. has become my home. My Dad was Active Duty Air Force and retired after 24 years of serving. I've lived everywhere from North Carolina (where I was born), to Germany, Japan and England. My Mom is originally from England so naturally she didn't want to leave and we stayed there the longest. I graduated from Alamogordo High School and have lived in New Mexico for almost 25 years. I joined the Air National Guard one month after I graduated, and have been a part of this unit for 19 years. Besides being at work, I spend the majority of my time at home with my family. I have 2 girls who I hope will follow in both mine and their Dad's footsteps one day by joining and serving their country. I'm a huge foodie, I love shopping, working out at the gym (weights, not cardio) and college basketball (GO TAR HEELS!). I'm very thankful to be one of you recruiters for the state of NM and the greatest Air National Guard unit there is!

I joined the New Mexico Air National Guard in 2017, and it was the best decision I have ever made. I am the first member in my family to join the military.  I was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, and moved to Albuquerque shortly after I enlisted. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico in 2021, and plan to obtain my Master's degree in the near future.  I am a hot yoga instructor in my free-time, and love to work out, especially with my family. I also take interest in sewing, gardening, landscaping, woodworking, painting, etc.

Briana Baca

I enlisted in 2018 right after high school due to the amazing benefits that the NMANG has to offer and don’t regret it one bit. I am the first in my family to join the military. I was born and raised in Belen, NM, a small town with big culture,  which is another reason why I enjoy the NMANG because we have that here, it's like a big family. Prior to becoming a recruiter I worked with our Force Support Squadron as a DSG Services troop on our Fatal Search and Recovery Team. While, fulltime worked for our Joint Force Headquarters office, then our Base Education and Training Office. I enjoy working out, the outdoors and spending time with my family.
